Zuzanna Bartoszek

Zuzanna Bartoszek is a Polish artist and writer whose practice moves between painting, poetry, and literature. Born in Poznań in 1993, she lives and works in Amsterdam. Her recent exhibitions include Under The Spiky Sun at Contemporary Fine Arts Basel, Switzerland (2026), Film Noir at KLEMM’S, Berlin, Germany (2025), and Wax Kid at Galeria Stereo, Warsaw, Poland (2024). Her work has also been presented internationally in exhibitions in Los Angeles, Copenhagen, London, and Amsterdam. Alongside her visual practice, Bartoszek has published two poetry collections, Klucz wisi na Słońcu (2021) and Niebieski Dwór (2016), as well as the book Self-portrait (anatomia poetki) (2021), with her poems and texts appearing in publications including TwórczośćDwutygodnik, and Czas Kultury. In 2021 she received the ING Polish Art Foundation Prize, and Klucz wisi na Słońcu was nominated for the 2022 Wisława Szymborska Award. Bartoszek is currently a 2026–2027 resident at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam.
