Nick Goss is a British painter born in Bristol in 1981. He completed a Master of Fine Art at the Royal Academy and a BA from the Slade School of Fine Art in London, where he is now based. His paintings often feature layered washes of color and fragmented imagery, that give a sense of ambiguity and transience. Drawing inspiration from urban landscapes, interiors, and historical references, Goss creates scenes that feel both familiar and distant.
Goss has exhibited internationally and is recognized for his contemplative, narrative-driven style. His work is included in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum, New York, USA; the Dallas Museum of Art, Texas, USA; Pallant House, London, UK.
