Rosy Keyser (born 1974 in Baltimore, Maryland) is an American contemporary artist recognized for her large-scale, gestural abstractions that are rich in texture and physicality. Her work often incorporates found materials such as beer cans, tarps, and sawdust, blurring the lines between painting and sculpture in an intensely tactile and visceral manner.
Keyser’s work has been showcased at prominent institutions such as the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota; the Zabludowicz Collection in London; the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Humlebaek, Denmark; and Ballroom Marfa in Texas.
